Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the AI-native EMR built for hospitals and clinics.
Vectrah is an AI-native Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform for hospitals and clinics. AI is built into the entire hospital workflow, from OPD consultations to nursing, wards, paramedic care and administration, so staff spend less time on paperwork and more time with patients.
AI runs through every step of care, not just dictation. It listens to consultations and writes structured clinical notes, lets nurses and paramedics record vitals by voice, summarises each visit, answers doctors' questions about a patient's full history, and codes clinical data to standard terminologies so it stays usable.
Yes. The entire system, including the EMR, database, file storage and AI, can be installed on a server inside your hospital. Patient data never leaves your premises and nothing depends on an outside cloud.
No. Vectrah uses local AI that runs on your hospital's own hardware, so consultations, clinical notes and patient history queries are processed on-site. No patient information is sent to external AI providers.
Yes. When Vectrah is installed on your hospital's server, staff reach it over your internal network, so wards, OPD and pharmacy keep working during an internet outage. Small clinics without their own servers can use Vectrah's managed cloud, where each clinic's data is kept strictly separate with row-level security, and offline support keeps the clinic running when the connection drops.
Yes. Vectrah supports HL7 FHIR and HL7 v2, the standards most hospital information systems, labs and health platforms use to exchange data. Patients, appointments, diagnoses, observations and orders can flow both ways between Vectrah and your existing HIS, lab system or CRM, with no double entry.
Yes. Vectrah can be embedded directly inside your existing hospital information system with single sign-on. Doctors open Vectrah's AI-powered consultation screen without leaving the system they already use, and the finished records flow back to your HIS automatically.
Diagnoses are coded in ICD-10 and ICD-11, and lab investigations use LOINC. Because records follow these international standards, your data stays portable and ready for reporting, insurance and sharing with other providers.
Yes. Doctors can speak to patients in Nepali, English, or a mix of both mid-sentence, the way consultations in Nepal actually happen. Vectrah transcribes Nepali speech, keeps English medical terms such as drug names and diagnoses exactly as spoken, and turns the conversation into a structured clinical note.
Yes. With Vectrah's Consultation Memory, a doctor can ask in plain language, such as “Is she still on the medicine that upset her stomach?” or “What did we plan at the last visit?”, and get an instant answer drawn from every past consultation, including diagnoses, medications, complaints and follow-up plans.
Yes. Run the consultation on Google Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams or any other video or voice app. Vectrah is platform-independent: it works alongside whichever app you use and documents the visit straight into the patient's record, with no switching platforms.
No. Patients join on an app they already have, such as WhatsApp, Google Meet or Zoom. The doctor handles documentation in Vectrah.
